Research Interests:

I am, generally, interested in Gene Expression Studies. More specifically I am interested in studying genes confering sex differences between male and female (sex chromosomes and sex-linked genes) in mamalian species. Stress- induced gene expression is another area we are interested to look at. In this context, currently we have a project devoted to drug-induced gene expression using Leishmania major as a model.
